Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation Review

´ello lovely people.
I am back with a new review!
This post is all about the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation.
If you would like to know more about this foundation just keep reading.

I got my hands on this foundation in a Sephora store
Unfortunately its not the easiest to get your hands on it but I tell you its worth a try.
This foundation has very high coverage and is not lightweight.
But I have to say it doesn't make my skin feel too heavy.
It isn't a foundation I would reach for on a daily basis or on a lazy day.
This is a foundation for special occasions, for nights out or for days when you know you have to wear your make up for hours and you don't want to worry about it, moving around on your face.
Its easily to blend into your skin and looks the most natural when you use a damp beauty blender to pat it into your skin.
Its not the cheapest foundation but if you have some extra cash or you feel like splasing your money on a really good foundation I would recommend this one or the Estée Lauder Double Wear.

(You can read a full review on this one here:
http://londonstagraam.blogspot.de/2015/11/estee-lauder-double-wear-review.html )

I am a big fan of the colour range.
These foundations are yellow based which is perfect for my skin tone.
If you have rosé or olive skin tones it could get quite difficult to find the perfect shade but I recommend trying to buy the foundation in a store.
The ladies at the counters are often very friendly and helpful.
I think it can get difficult when you try to find the right shade in an online shop, so try to find a store and try the different shades on your jaw line so you have the perfect match for your skin tone.
You can always go back and buy it online after you know your perfect shade.

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost.
Next one will be up by the end of next week x

Have some lovely easter days.

The Body Shop: Drops Of Youth Concentrate Review

´ello lovely people,
this week I want to change your game in skin care.
With these drops your skin will not only thank you but will feel like a whole new one.
The Drops Of Youth Concentrate is a kind of serum, which leaves your skin looking its best.
It is also for all skin types and for every age.
You only need one drop, which you can easy get out of the bottle with the squeezing top bit of the bottle.
You put one drop into the palm of your hand and mix it into your normal everyday moisturiser.
It instantly makes your skin feel very hydrated and smooth.
It leaves a very firm and fresh feeling on your skin.
I use it right before applying my make up.
I let it sink into my skin and when the mixture between the serum and the moisturiser gets sticky I apply my normal foundation.
The foundation looks very smooth and does not stick to dry patches anymore.
Furthermore, I love using the serum in the morning because it has a very cooling and refreshing feel to it.
I have to say that I would not want to miss this product anymore.
It became a stable in my everyday make up routine and I find myself getting excited when I wake up because I can use it again then.
I really do love this product and I think you would love it too thats why I wanted to share it with you.

If you have anymore questions about this product leave me a comment and I'll be happy to answer your questions.

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost.
Please let me know in the comment bar below x

Mid- February Favourites

éllo lovely people,
I am finally back.
I am so sorry for staying away for a couple of weeks.
I had my examinations at my university and basically lived in the library.
I now have only one exam left and two papers due until march but I couldn't leave you for any longer.
I missed blogging so much as you may know if you follow my twitter @ londonstagraam

So it´s been a while and I want to share some beauty products I loved during January and mid February.

I want to share my favourite fragrance with you.
It was all about the sweet and flowery scents for me but a few weeks ago I wanted something more heavy and kinda sexy in my collection.
I had a browse through a few stores but couldn't find anything really.
It was my roommate who showed me the fragrances around Zara and this scent one was just right up my street.
It is kinda musky but sexy.
I love it and I am wearing it constantly.

I love Maybelline mascaras so I had to try the new Push Up Dream Mascara in their range.
I heard Lou Teasdale talk about it in her Snapchat and had to get my hands on it.
It is amazing I can tell you.
It lengthens your lashes and adds a hell lot of volume.
It is a bit clumpy so if you do not like that keep away from this one,
go for the Lash Sensational one or the False Lashes Mascara.
But if you do like a bit of a clump and loads of coats on your lashes you will love this one.

I recently tried the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray in a mini bottle.
I used it for special occasions but found myself reaching for it more often and hated that I couldn't use it everyday because I only had the mini version of it.
So I splashed my money on the bigger version and I regret nothing.
It has such a nice feeling on the skin, its very refreshing and smells amazing.
With setting sprays from different brands I always had to worry that it makes my makeup run down my face with this one no such thing happens.
My makeup games changed a lot after purchasing it.
It keeps my makeup in place for literally the whole day.

I got my eyebrows waxed a few weeks ago and it leaves your skin around them red and angry,
so the lovely woman who worked at the Benefit counter recommended the Boiing concealer.
Its a high-coverage concealer with zinc in it.
It helps to sooth the skin while still covering the redness.
It is also perfect for putting on top of your pimples or little blemishes to help them heal while still covering them up perfectly.

I wanted to get my hands on the Clinique curvy contour chubby stick for about a year now.
I finally treaded myself to it and it intoducted mew to a whole new word of contouring.
I have to say it takes a while to find the perfect way in blending it into your skin but it also leaves the most natural looking contour on your face.
I contour my cheekbones, jawline, nose and forehand with it and it worked very well on all these places.
You are able to build it up depending on how strong you want your contour to look.
I feel like this will be very much loved especially in the warmer days,
hopefully they will be here soon.

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost,
I´m sorry I was away, I hope you understand that university is very important to me and that I had to concentrate on my exams for a while.
Speak to you soon x

Love, Kim

2015 Beauty Favourites

´ello lovely people.
It is that time of the year where I will tell you everything about my favourite products in 2015.

Grab a snack and play some of your favourite music,
this post will be a bit on the longer side.

Let´s start with face products:

Foundation & Base

In the beginning of the year it was all about the lightweight foundation.
I fell in love with very liquid-y foundations this year.
I loved the Maybelline Dream Wonder Nude Foundation.
It is very very lightweight on the skin and feels like a moisturiser which I love.
The only downside to this foundation is that it does moves a lot on your skin after a few hours, especially around the T-zone.
In the summer time I absolutely loved the Maybelline Dream Bronze BB Cream with SPF.
It is super dark and glowy but it makes tanned skin looks flawless!
At the last third of this year I splashed my money on the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation.
It was the best decision I have made!
This is my holy grail foundation and I use it every single day when I wear make up!
I could go on about this product for days but I wrote a whole review about it here:

http://londonstagraam.blogspot.com/2015/11/estee-lauder-double-wear-review.html

 Bronzer & Blush

My favourite contour shade this year has been by far the Benefit Hoola Bronzer.
It has a very ashy undertone and is the perfect shade for my skin tone or really any skin tone.
It is very pigmented and is very easy to blend into your skin.
I loved the Soap & Glory Solar Powder to add on top of my countour,
especially in summer.
It adds a nice shimmer and looks super healthy on the skin.
I fell in love with cream products this year, I love the Toyshop cream blush in afternoon tea.
It is a very pigmented and very bright pink but blended in correctly it adds the most beautiful flush to your cheek.

This year it was all about highlighters if you ask me.
It was all about adding the perfect glow to your face and to find the most suitable WOW effect for your face.
I loved the cream highlighter by Alverde in summer.
It is very light on the skin and felt the most natural.
You don´t want to add to many powders on top of each other during the hot days, so this one was by far my favourite.
Apart from the Estée Lauder foundation the The Balm Mary Lou Manizer has been my favourite purchase last year.
It is the most beautiful highlighter I have ever seen.
It´s just amazing and I love it!

Eyes

Staring with my favourite base from last year.
It was the MAC Cosmetics Paint in Painterly.
It is a very natural colour, almost the colour of my own eyelids.
Its perfect to get rid of tiny veins and to make the eyeshadow you are about to apply pop out more.
It is also very long lasting, so it was and still is a huge favourite of mine.
I also loved the rose gold pigment I purchased at the last third of the year.
It is also by MAC Cosmetics.
One of my favourite mascaras have been then Estée Laude Sumptuous Extreme.
In 2015 I loved the more natural looks, I was really all about the browns and beige colours.
I loved putting a brown instead of a dark black liner onto my waterline.
It makes the look less harsh and more natural.
Astor and Kiko make some very pigmented natural looking kohl liners.

Lips

You know I love a good old nude lip.
I loved using my nude lipsticks by MAC COSMETICS.
For me MAC does by far the best lipsticks.
They last ages and the colour range is incredible.
My favourite shades this year have been.
1. Please me (pinkish nude)
2. Velvet Teddy (beige-y nude)
3. Modesty (darker pinkish nude)
and
4. Whirl (browny nude)
They are all natural shades, from pinky nudes which I loved during spring and summer to more browny nudes which were perfect for the colder months.
I loved my nude lip looks.
Of course we all heard of the Kylie Jenner lip trend last year,
so this year it was all about plump and healthy looking lips.
You do not need lip fillers to make your lips look plump.
The key to this look is a good lipliner.
I loved the Trend It Up Lipliner in 010.
It is a very pinkish shade which is just a little bit darker than my natural lip colour which is perfect to slightly over line your lips with it to make them seem bigger.
I also loved the brown Kiko lipliner in 030.
Which give is perfect for a darker lipstick match.

Let me know which are your favourite products of 2015. What can you recommend?

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost.
